Whats the difference between Tmobile Wing & G1 Android?

I am a hardcore Sidekick fan, but I wasn’t the cooler features that the iPhone have. My hubby got one but I have T-Mobile. SO I saw the G1. he bought be a Wing for Valentines, but I didnt like alot of the features. Does anyone out there know any of the differences betweeen the wing & g1?

I have the Wing, and it’s okay. I’ve had to install a lot of tweaks to get it to do what I want. I have ordered the G1, hoping it will be better. Looks like the screen is larger, better for fingers than the tiny one on the Wing.

Be warned that if you signed a new contract recently, the price they’ll offer you is $299, not the $179, you see all over. The difference is that service contracts subsidize the real cost of the devices, thus if you aren’t close to “paying off” your new device, you don’t get as deep a discount on something newer.

Things that are different on the G1

No exchange ( so no interface with outlook email, though the app store could change that quickly)
No stylus, but the G1 is built for the finger.
No headphone jack, but if you have a wing, the same headphones you got with the Wing should work on the G1, it’s that USB mini.

If you have an apple or android body type, where would be the first place you lose weight?

And how long does it usually take for you to lose weight in the rest of your body too?

Every body will lose weight differently. The apple shape doesn't necessarily dictate in what order you gain/lose weight.

However, I will give you my own experience. When I began losing weight, I'd say I lost it first around my face. My pants became large fairly quickly, but my waistline didn't not follow suit. The weight I lost was mainly in my legs. Then I began noticing that my arms were looking slimmer. My breasts didn't get bigger when I gained weight, so they stayed the same even when I lost weight. Finally my stomach began to shrink, slowly but surely.

Right now I'm about 10 pounds away from my goal, and 10 pounds ago my stomach still looked huge. It's flatter now, but not by much. The stomach fat is definitely the last to go. My inner thighs have quite a bit of fat left in 'em too. I don't mind that as much as I mind the stomach fat.

Here's something you might find interesting:

What are the advantages & disadvantages to giving your android Free Will? Why would you or would you not?

Hippo Thanx for the fun & interesting answer. You thought processes are to be highly commended.
Carolax & Trixie fine answers

I don't have an android, but I guess this is a hypothetical question.

If an android was created by humans then it would depend if it was programmed how to act by humans, or if it was genuinely sentient.

If it was just programmed how to act, then it could not have free will, as it's programming and therefore it's responses would be actually our will. An interesting though is whether or not something can be programmed to have free will!!!! Can spontaneity be programmed, it depends on your perception.

If it was genuinely sentient then I'm guessing that it's mind would have evolved in a specific environment. If it's minds evolution was revolved around it's own survival, then it could be dangerous for us, as it's own survival would be more important than ours.

If we constrained it's evolutionary learning, so that we gave it positive feedback when it was beneficial of kind to humans, and negative feedback when it was harmful or useless to humans, then this would be safe.

But this would mean that the android wouldn't have complete free will. It would have free will within the constraints of satisfying humans, but not total free will.

The other question that arises, is could it become sentient at all?

This is one of those questions that throws up more questions than answers, but thanks for such a fun question :)
