Why are US presidents always related somehow?
Posted by admin, under Genealogy NewsA just finished reading a news story about who Obama, Clinton, and McCain are related to. Wierd because I know of plenty of past presidents who are also related to other world powers some how. New World Order??? Coincidence?

One of the examples in your link is the relationship between Sen. Obama and Pres. Bush. They have ONE ancestor in common from around 350 years ago.
If that person had two children, who each had two children, who each had two children, etc., the 18th generation of descendants would number over a quarter million. And that's with ONLY 2 children per person who carried on the line.
And that's just one ancestor… think of how many ancestors you yourself have back to the mid-17th century, and how many people to whom you're related through them.

Over 30 U.S. presidents are descended from British royalty, and are related to many other famous people too. Bush, for example, is a direct descendant of Muhammed the Prophet, so the part about Obama being related to Cheney and so forth doesn't really surprise me. The elites of society are all interconnected by family ties.
