I only want to work on hardware and repair computers or small electronics. I'd rather learn from other techs than go to school. Then take the certification on my own.
This site that I know offers a couple of free "Do it Yourself" PC repair tutorials that you can get upon request. Contact them and just ask.
I have always wanted to learn about upgrading graphic cards and other stuff but i am always afraid that doing this will screw up my computer. I have lots of dare devil friends who spent lots of money on computer hardware but spoil the whole computer. One of my friend even had his computer exploded when he tries to upgrade his hardware manually.
You might try taking a class at a technical college. I'm taking a computer hardware class and when you do so, you don't have to worry about screwing up a computer, it becomes part of the learning process.
I’m from the Philippines and I have a dsl connection at home. I want to be able to take my laptop to different sections of the house without being bothered by a long phone cord or cable. What hardware do I need to buy so I can go wireless. Someone told me to get a wireless router. Is that all I need? Do I need to attach something to the laptop so it can receive the signal? My laptop is wi fi ready. Thanks!
You need your DSL connection, wireless router, and a computer with the ability to connect wirelessly.

I always have terrible hardware, and the bolts get stripped really fast and dont stay tight. im sick of this crap and i just want good hardware. Can anyone suggest good skate hardware that willl last a while? i know it doesnt make a difference in how well you skate, but i dont wanna have to replace it every 2 weeks. Thanks!
In about 30 years of skating, hardware has never been a problem for me. I usually use the generic hardware at the skate shop. I also have used Bullet, Independent, Pig and even the stuff from the hardware store.
When installing hardware, only hand tighten the nuts, don;t use power tools; they can strip out the nylon retainer in the nut.
Use bolts that are the right length. Too short, and you can;t get the nut at least flush with the end of the bolt. Too long, and the threads can get damaged.
my 80year old mother bought kitchen cabinets from Home Hardware,they arrived damaged and defective from the factory-all of them.Home will not take them back.Head office will not help.Now an 80yr old lady is being forced to takel legal action!!!! These cabinets are made by Kitchen Craft and are the poorest quality I have seen .who else has this problem? CAN anyone help?
Contact Kitchen Craft. If they wont help, then offer legal action against Them!

I’m trying to repaint my chrome hardware on my guitar, but the paint will not adhere to the chrome. I’ve also tried a coat of primer before applying the paint, to no avail. Any ideas?
The paint just scratches off.
